Dantemon is an Open Appmon. It is an avatar that opens great paths. As a special Appmon that possesses the power to open a gate leading to the Net Abyss, the hidden 7codes are necessary to meet it.[1]

- Dantetsuken (断鉄剣? lit. "Judgment-cutting Sword")[2]: Bisects any foe with its gigantic sword, then lets them listen to a song of victory when the battle has ended.
- Tojimari Youjin (戸締用心? lit. "Lock Doors Cautiously")

Dantemon resembles a humanoid robot. It has glowing colored spheres on its shoulders, hands, knees. chest and head and green hair.

Dantemon can be apprealized by putting the Appmon 7code PAD's Chip-like appendage inside the Appli Drive. In order to apprealize Dantemon, all 7code Appmon must have been apprealized at some point before, or the apprealize will fail. Dantemon cannot Applink.
