The D-Brigade (D－ブリガード, D-Burigādo^?) is a mechanized brigade consisting of mostly Dragon-type Cyborg Digimon, and is a special force that is dispatched on missions that are never made public. Its main infantry is composed of Commandramon, but those who pass the "Selection-D" test, the top 1%, are selected to become the Sealsdramon used for assassinating "Targets". Many of the Commandramon who don't pass "Selection-D" will digivolve into Hi-Commandramon whose main role is to act as a shield, protecting the Commandramon assault troops with its massive build and protective armor. Tankdramon, who specialize in group "Target" extermination, are used for riot-suppression and assault-extermination, and the sole Tankdramon to have been shot down during a sortie is believed to have been retrieved from its failed operation to eliminate "Codename: BAN-TYO" and brought back to a D-Brigade research facility, where it digivolved into what became the D-Brigade's weapon of last resort, Darkdramon, before escaping. Darkdramon's escape caused a major fiasco, and the D-Brigade, after reflecting upon their failure to produce a singularly unique and supremely powerful Digimon to represent their organization, developed and digivolved Brigadramon. Brigadramon circles over the mission area, seeking out and destroying threats on the ground or at low altitudes. After all major threats have been eradicated, a Cargodramon will descend and deploy Commandramon, Hi-Commandramon, and Tankdramon on the ground. Brigadramon will continue to circle the skies above until the mission is complete, giving commands to the deployed units and searching for enemies. Cargodramon contains a cargo hold in its fuselage, which on a typical mission is used to transport a squadron of five Commandramon and one Hi-Commandramon. It is also capable of transporting a single Tankdramon by suspending wires beneath it when the cargo hold is empty. Cargodramon is also used as a ground control measure while the troops are being deployed as well as if a close combat situation arises due to unforeseen circumstances. Due to the improvement of its operational success rate and a significant drop in the number of lost troops, the D-Brigade, having temporarily lost face due to the prior fiasco, has begun to restore its former reputation with the deployment of Brigadramon. Reports indicate that there are three Brigadramon currently in service, with this number expected to increase in the future.

In addition to the aforementioned mentioned troops, there are also candidates who have not yet been inducted to the corps.
