Chibomon is a Slime Digimon, and as such, it is small and young. It is a small, blue-colored, Dragon Digimon child, and although it is small and powerless, it has the potential to digivolve to every Dragon Digimon. For that reason, it is a Digimon that is considered exceedingly valuable by tamers and researchers of Dragon Digimon. It is cherished due to its personality of friendliness and overflowing curiosity, characteristic of Fresh Digimon. Just like other Fresh Digimon, it spits acidic bubbles to attack, but as usual, their power is nonexistent.[3]

When Mayu Nozomi was a child, he owned a D-3. When he stopped playing with it, the Digimon inside at the time was a Chibomon. Most of Mayu's Digimon merch collection came to life on August 1, 2024, with the many countless now real life Digimon causing havoc in the City. One of them that came to life was Chibomon, though instead of causing havoc, it decided to stay inside the v-pet. Regardless, it still wound up somewhere in the City, seemingly dragged there by another Digimon. With Mayu a 27 year old adult, he refused to play with his Digimon toys — including this v-pet — and when Mayu arrived to where it was, it angrily came out of the v-pet and confronted him over why he refused to play with it. It asked him if he didn't need Digimon any more just because he was an adult, with many other Digimon joining in to confront him over this. Mayu ends up realizing they were all right — he was still allowed to like Digimon even though he was an adult and had been forcing himself to pretend he didn't like the franchise any more. Chibomon is only obtainable from a DigiEgg. Chibomon can digivolve to Veemon or SnowAgumon.
To get Veemon, you have to match a Dragon Digimon and an 'Obedient' Digimon with 300+ Attack. The resulting egg will have an 80% chance of hatching to Chibomon, Veemon's In-Training form, and a 20% chance of hatching to ExVeemon, its Champion form.
