Butenmon is a Shaman Digimon. It dons crimson armor and wields a massive sword. It digivolved from a Digimon that has honed its skill with the blade through countless battles. Though still an Ultimate-level Digimon, Butenmon's mastery is already approaching the limits of swordsmanship. It wields its massive sword with both elegant finesse and enough brute strength to shatter mountains. The image of Butenmon rushing into battle, blade in hand, summons to mind the very definition of a mighty warrior. Those who've witnessed Butenmon defeat its enemies with Daybreak Flash (暁光一閃 Gyoukou Issen?, lit. "Dawn Light Flash") have likened it to a war god shining light upon a dark battlefield.[3] However, it is beginning to think that there are limits to saving the Digital World with swordsmanship...[4]

Butenmon is #200, and is an Ultimate-level, Attacker-class, Bird-species Digimon with a resistance to the Holy and Earth elements and a weakness to the Thunder element. It possesses the Health 200%, High Speed Evasion, and Digimon Professor traits, and has the special skill Tree Cut.
It dwells on Proxy Island. When defeated, it can drop the debug plate for Butenmon
Butenmon digivolves from Buraimon and can digivolve into Chronomon Holy Mode. In order to digivolve or degenerate into Butenmon, your Digimon must be at least level 36 with 140 attack and 105 defense, but only once you have revived Butenmon.
It can be hatched from the Chrono DigiEgg.
