Burpmon is a Mutant Digimon. There are times when Digimon with great appetites eat more than they can manage, and mutate into Burpmon. Once in this form, they will never become full regardless of how much they eat, and hate moving around, idling away. It keeps eating while rolling about in search of food, and will devour anything once it runs out of food and goes hungry. It seems that if one chooses to limit the amount of food they eat and continue exercising, they will return to their former state.[1]
Design[]
Burpmon resembles a pig-like blob ball creature. It has short ears, stubby hands and feet, a pig’s tail, and two beady eyes.

Under the orders of Negamon, the Soundbirdmon deliver a Burpmon to the Great Tree of Information to devour all of the data on the Great Catastrophe and the Crest monoliths in order to keep the DigiDestined from learning about the true power of the Crests. It grew bigger each time it eats data and it eats a Mekanorimon before confronting the DigiDestined. Greymon, Togemon, Garurumon, Birdramon, Kabuterimon and Ikkakumon quickly attack it, but Patamon and Gatomon both prove to be too weak to digivolve after the energy that they had expended while fighting Millenniummon as Goldramon and Magnadramon. However, Burpmon simply eats all of their attacks and grows even bigger. When Garbagemon tries to suck Burpmon up, it simply swallows him as well briefly before spitting Garbagemon back out. Digivolving to Ultimate, MetalGreymon, Garudamon and MegaKabuterimon manage to drag Burpmon outside where they continue the fight, but Burpmon resumes trying to get back inside and grows even bigger after eating Garudamon's attack. Burpmon nearly sucks in Garudamon, but she is saved by Lillymon.
On Izzy's signal, the Tree's Mekanorimon, WereGarurumon and Zudomon feed Burpmon the Tree's garbage data, overloading Burpmon with the massive amount of data and causing it to grow to a massive size. It is then finished off by MegaKabuterimon and MetalGreymon firing their attacks down its throat which overloads Burpmon to the point that it explodes, releasing all of the data that it had eaten as well as the Mekanorimon. However, the data is left scattered, forcing Izzy, Garbagemon, Searchmon and Wisemon to recollect and restore it. The Mystery Hidden Within the Crests

A Digimon digivolves into Burpmon if its weight reaches 80G. Burpmon is constantly hungry, but almost no amount of food sates it. It also refuses training of any kind. It infects any other Digimon it comes in contact with, turning them into Burpmon also. It changes back to its original form once its weight drops below 80G. All the while, it beeps non-stop for food.
