Boarmon is the Armor Digivolved form of Armadillomon through the Digi-Egg of Courage.

A Boarmon was among the Beast Digimon on HippoGryphomon's side in the Beast Digimon/Human Digimon war. He, along with a Rabbitmon and an Oryxmon, took part in an attack that destroyed themselves and their enemies.
Digimon Data Squad
Besides a bunch of Pteramon, a bunch of large Boarmon were recruited by SaberLeomon and the Gotsumon that works for Merukimon to invade the Real World. During the battle with RiseGreymon, MachGaogamon, Lilamon, KnightChessmon, and Peckmon, a mysterious man activated a trigger that opened some gate and the Boarmon were sucked in.
