Argomon (Mega) is a Mutant Digimon. It is a gigantic Mega Digimon that digivolved from the Ultimate Argomon, and also amplified its close-combat abilities.[3] Its eyes, which were closed, are now open and its power is unleashed.[4]
Attacks
- Distortion Line: Beams destructive enough to completely distort even dimensions, fired from the eyes on its limbs.
- Brute Force: Mows down the enemy with its massive body. It is exceptionally destructive.
- Terabyte Disaster: Countless beams fired from its mouth.
- Mystic Cannon (Judecca Cannon): Blows up the enemy with powerful cursed volleys.
Design[]
Argomon (Mega) is a giant semi-humanoid with six eyespots in reference on the mythological Argus Panoptes, two on the head-like ornament of its large mouth, two on its shoulders and two on its thighs. It has a single, curved red horn on its pseudo-head and it has hair-like tendrils attached to the pseudo-head, shoulders and elbows. Its massive mouth is filled with countless eyes that appear and disappear.
In Digimon Savers the Movie: Ultimate Power! Activate Burst Mode!!, Digimon Adventure:, Digimon Masters, and BT2-050: Argomon, Argomon has red claws instead of the green claws depicted in its Bandai arts. Additionally, these depict the interior of its mouth as black instead of red as in its Bandai arts. In BT5-058: Argomon it retains its green claws, but still has the black mouth.

Official romanization given by the Digimon Reference Book and used in Japanese and some American English media.[5] Some media differentiate it from its other levels by labeling this one as "Mega" (ＭＧ?)[6], "Mega" (究極体 Kyūkyoku-tai?, "Ultimate")[7] or "(Mega)" (（究極体） (Kyūkyoku-tai)?, "(Ultimate)").[2]
- (En:) Likely a pun on Algorithm, especially combined with its association with Rhythm, and Argus Panoptes, mythological giant.
- Argomon
Official name given by the Digimon Encyclopedia and used in American English media. Some media differentiate it from its other levels by labeling this one as "(Mega)"[8], which some media format as "Mega"[9]. Digimon Masters labels this one as "Ultimate" instead as a direct translation of its Japanese level.

Argomon (Mega) was designed by Soh Moriyama. He based the design on Evangelion Unit-01 from Neon Genesis Evangelion.[10]

Its basic stats are 338 HP, 344 MP, 181 Attack, 170 Defense, 141 Spirit, 136 Speed, and 80 Aptitude. It possesses the Heroic Heart, Dark Veil, Gladiator, and SleepBarrier traits.
Argomon Mega digivolves from Argomon. In order to digivolve to Argomon Mega, your Digimon must be at least level 62, with 40,000 Dark experience and 400 attack.

Argomon Mega is #267, and is a Mega-level, HP-type, Dark-species Digimon with a resistance to the Dark and Earth elements and a weakness to the Holy and Water elements. It possesses the Health 200%, Item Master, Skill Master, and Healing Wave traits, and it has the special skill Dig.
