Arata Sanada (真田アラタ Sanada Arata^?) is the former leader of Jude. His Enjoy! Chat nickname is Blue Box (ブルーボックス Burū Bokkusu^?).

Appearance

Arata is a teenage boy with fair skin, blue eyes, and long black hair. He wears a blue jumpsuit with two black circles with white text on them, and two white squares with blue text on them, both on the left side of the jumpsuit. He also wears black shoes, and a gray hooded jacket with long sleeves, blue lines all over them, and a black rectangle with blue text in the inner side of the hood. The jacket in zipped only in the neck.

Description

Arata has a carefree behavior and often speaks in riddles. He is like a big brother among his peers.

Arata is a fan of Explosive Park Delete.

Etymologies

Arata Sanada (真田アラタ)

Name used in Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth. Officially romanized in a PlayStation Vita custom theme.

Ja: Sanada (真田, Sanada^?). Japanese surname that means "braid".
Ja: Arata (アラタ, Arata^?). A Japanese masculine name. Likely from corpus allatum (アラタ体, arata-tai^?), as Kurisarimon is a chrysalis.

+Arata suddenly arrives in the Akihabara Digital Shift and approaches [[Keisuke Amasawa]] and {{c|Wormmon|dscs}} who are searching for [[Ryuji Mishima]] and {{c|Arcadiamon|dscs}}, so the three team up, searching the Akihabara Digital Shift. They find Ryuji has caused it to be an endless loop, so hack the environment and find that three random hackers have been mind controlled to cause it. After defeating them in a dominion battle, the area is restored to normal the the three find Ryuji and Arcadiamon eating multiple Digimon to power back up, having lost to Keisuke earlier. Ryuji then sees Arata and states that Keisuke has betrayed him after all, since he is now teaming with the guy who betrayed Ryuji by leaving Jude. Ryuji and Arata argue over it and when Arata states that it's Ryuji's fault Jude ended because he could've just continued without Arata there, Ryuji's anger causes Arcadiamon to digivolve into his Mega level. Keisuke and Arata manage to defeat Arcadiamon, leading Arata to reveal he left Jude because in the past he got friends killed and losing in Under Zero brought those memories back and that he didn't want to lead any other friends into getting killed again and that he knew Ryuji would force him to be the leader again and that Ryuji would've been a good leader for Jude, due to how well he had been leading Hudie until he and Arcadiamon started murdering hackers. Ryuji is shocked at his words but Arata leaves before he can say anything about it.
