AncientVolcamon is an Ancient Mineral Digimon whose name and design are derived from "Ancient" and "Volcamon". It possesses the attribute of "Earth", and is one of the legendary "Ten Legendary Warriors" that saved the ancient Digital World. It is the most powerful of the Ancient Digimon. There is always high temperature magma welling up inside its body, which becomes the source of its mighty power. Its abilities were later passed on to the "Ore" and "Mineral" types of Rock-species Digimon.[3]

AncientVolcamon is a Mega-level Digimon. It can be digifused during battle from Volcamon, Vermilimon, Meteormon, and BomberNanimon, and will attack with "Supernova". It can also be formed from a DigiMelody.
Attacks
- Lavalanche (Atomic Bomber): Detonates the volcano on its back, which propels it into a super-strong lariat.
- Supernova: Generates antimatter within its body, which causes a super-detonation comparable to a tiny Big Bang.
- Big Bang Boom (Big Bang Fire): Fires a stream of magma from its back.
Fused AncientVolcamon
Fused AncientVolcamon is a form of AncientVolcamon formed when it absorbs several Meramon, causing its face to redden, its arms to burst into flame, and its volcano to rotate to its chest and become more active.
