AncientGreymon is an Ancient Dragon Digimon. Possessing the attribute of "Flame", it is one of the Ten Legendary Warriors that saved the ancient Digital World. A Mega who existed only in the distant past, it is told that its strength surpasses that of current Megas, and it is certainly a "Mega" being. Its abilities were later passed on to the "Dragon Digimon", such as the Greymon-species. It is said that in the previous crusade, it survived to the end alongside AncientGarurumon, and sealed away Lucemon.[4]

Design[]
AncientGreymon appears to be a mish-mash of both Agunimon and BurningGreymon, its form containing physical features from the Human and Beast Spirit Digimon of Flame. It has BurningGreymon's face, torso, legs, and flaming wings. Then it has Agunimon's shoulder guards, arms and feet to form its front limbs, and it has Agunimon's long spiky hair. What appears to be the Rudriya Darpaṇa is attached to both sides of its body. It sports glowing, blue eyes. In contrast to AncientGarurumon, it is a quadruped. The D-Scanner (Toy) depicts AncientGreymon without any wings.

AncientGreymon appears when Diaboromon and Imperialdramon Paladin Mode DNA digivolve during battle. It deals strong magical fire damage while lowering enemy's Strength greatly.
Digimon Story: Lost Evolution[]
AncientGreymon is #277, and is a Mega-level, Attacker-class, Dragon-species Digimon with a resistance to the Fire element and a weakness to the Dark element. It possesses the Confusion Barrier, Assassin's Arm, 7 Lucky Gods, and Challenger traits, and it has the special skill Ice Melt.
It dwells in the Task Canyon. When defeated, it can drop the debug plate for AncientGreymon.
AncientGreymon digivolves from MetalGreymon and can digivolve into Susanoomon. In order to digivolve or degenerate into AncientGreymon, your Digimon must be at least level 48 with 250 attack, but only once you have revived AncientGreymon and input the Spirit of Fire.
It can be hatched from the Warrior DigiEgg.
